A Gulfstream II jet that crash landed in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula in late September bearing a load of nearly four tons of cocaine. This particular Gulfstream II (tail number N987SA), was used between 2003 and 2005 by the CIA for at least three trips between the U.S. east coast and Guantanamo Bay — home to the infamous “terrorist” prison camp — according to a number of press reports.

Eric Scott has crossed the Royal Gorge, a 1,500 foot span, using only a jet pack and five gallons of fuel. The Denver man was not equipped with a parachute or any safety device as he passed above the Arkansas River
Scott, a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, made a short flight over the Royal Gorge two years ago and had been preparing for the longer crossing for some time. On Monday he reached a speed nearing 70 mph to complete the Royal Gorge crossing.
Scott works for the Denver-based Jet P.I., which developed the jet pack for stunts and promotions.
